Vehicles, mileage, maintenance and expense records, reminders, notes and document metadata are stored in a SQLite database on your device. Document and photo files are stored in the app's private file area. This content is not uploaded to a Garvium server.
Uninstalling the app may delete local data. Garvium Pro users can export a password-protected backup to a location they choose. The backup password is not sent to Garvium and cannot be recovered if forgotten.
A selected vehicle, its records and documents can be transferred encrypted directly to another phone on the same Wi-Fi through one-time QR pairing. The transfer does not use a Garvium or Firebase server. The source copy is deleted only if the user chooses to remove it after the destination confirms receipt.
Camera and photo access is used only for vehicle images and documents you select. OCR runs on supported devices. Notification access is used to deliver maintenance and document reminders you create.
The store build uses Google Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics to measure app stability and basic usage performance. These services may process app interactions, device and app information, approximate location, identifiers and diagnostics. Vehicle details, license plates, VINs, notes and document contents are not added to analytics events or crash reports.
The free version may show ads through Google Mobile Ads. Google and its advertising partners may process IP address, device or advertising identifiers, diagnostics and ad interactions for ad delivery, measurement, security and consent-based personalization. In regions that require consent, the app presents Google's user messaging flow.
Garvium Pro purchases are processed by Google Play or the Apple App Store. Garvium does not receive payment card details. The app only uses product and purchase entitlement information supplied by the store.
Garvium is not designed for children.
